The credit union has, from the time of charter in 1964, always had youth and teen members.
Several current teen members have expressed interest in an expanding teen participation in the credit union. If you are in high school (or are parent of a high school student), please contact the credit union (in person, phone, fax or email) for more information on our new teen program.
Several teens have already started activities such as being a teller during Sunday office hours. Depending on the number of additional teens that want to become involved, we will have additional teen tellers, some programs (educational) offered on personal finance for teens, and other programs/activities, depending on the level of interest and participation.
If you are undecided about participating, why not just request more information?
For smaller children, during office hours we have some give away items for children (stickers, pencils, coin holders). Ask us the next time you come to the credit union office.
The annual Credit Union Ten Mile Run (benefiting the Children's Miracle Network) is a great opportunity to volunteer.
